Do you weigh your food prior to it being cooked or after it's done?
For example, I want to measure out 4 oz of chicken... but im confused to weigh before or after because i cook my chicken with a little bit of water in the pan so that the chicken doesnt stick. But the chicken also absorbs the water while it's cooking so i didnt know how much that affected the weight...
Does anyone know the answer to this?
any help is appreciated!
Thank you!

Whatever you want, all that matters is that you use the correct entry for it.0

before, unless otherwise stated on the packaging...example, bacon is often "cooked slices". 4 oz of chicken as a serving is a before cooking weight.0
