Changing my eating...need help

I have been working on my eating since the beginning of the year. I started out eating a semi low carb/high protein diet. No breads, sugars, etc. Pretty much just proteins from meats, eggs, cheese, etc. and a ton of veggies. I did pretty well losing about 19 pounds so far. Happy with that for sure. It was a struggle to get my calories in though. Too much food and especially too much of the same food if that makes sense. I am now feeling nauseated even thinking about a salad or even veggies in general. Just over it for whatever reason. I can't bring myself to eat a veggie of any sort at the moment.
For the past few days I have been eating sort of whatever I want but fitting it in my calories and macros. I would say it's probably 60% of the foods I was eating before but adding in other things (bread for a sandwich, etc.). I have been reading a lot of folks just work with the calories and whatever they want that fits into them. I would have to say I am more satisfied with the feeling of regular food again. I have actually stayed within my c/f/p goals too so it seems ok, just strange.
Just having a hard time wrapping my head around eating what I want will equal weight loss! I know its a lot of portion control and moderation. Like tonight my family requested chicken fettuccine alfredo. If I serve my family roasted chicken and veggies again I think they will kick me out But, I did the calculations and I can actually fit a little bit of it in my day! Seriously?
I have to add that in the past, the only way I was able to lose weight was to pretty much starve to death having a glass of water and a stick of celery type stuff. I know now that isn't healthy. So to think of being able to eat within my calories is craziness to me.

are you incorporating any exercise into your routine? That will have some bearing on what types of calorie nutrition ratios you might want to target.0

It's how I did it honestly... Just ate 'cleaner' foods at first then switched to what I wanted after a month or so... and increased my calories as well (by the way, you're supposed to eat back your exercise calories... Unless you're short and totally sedentary, you can probably lose on more than 1300 calories... I've never eaten below 1600).0

Yes, I am working out 5/6 days a week. Spinning M/F after doing some strength training first. Wednesday is a full body interval training session. Tuesday/Thursday is moderate cardio for about 45 minutes. Saturdays or Sundays is usually a long walk or cardio at the gym.
It just feels so strange eating the fet alfredo for dinner. Yes, I only had less than 2 cups but it was satisfying and fit in my calories. I made my family a salad to go along with the pasta and it doesn't look good at all right now. I hope my veggie desire returns at least a little soon. I cut up some green pepper and carrots earlier and ate those so I am getting some veggies down0 -
I just did my TDEE on the Scooby site and it came out as the following:
BMR: 1466
TDEE: 2159
Calories (-20%) 1727
35% protein 149g
45% carb 191g
20% fat 38g
I know I can get the carbs up there, but keeping the fat at 20% is going to be tough.
I am still looking at 1700 calories and shaking my head. Hard to believe I will lose on that!0
