Did crossfit today-whoa

I have been wanting to try this but have been waiting to lose some weight and have better cardio.

Kicked my butt. 8 stations lasting 40 seconds each with 20 second rest in between. Did the 8 stations twice so 16 minutes plus 10 minute warm up. I have been doing 30-40 minutes elliptical and general weight lifting. Today in 16 minutes felt like I did more than any hr workout I have been doing.

Looking forward to doing it again.

    That is great that you enjoyed it! Just a gentle word of caution -- a lot of people I know, myself included, have been injured doing too much too quickly with Crossfit. I developed a sciatic nerve that took me out of exercise of any kind (other than walking) for two months. So if you start to feel twinges, go easy on yourself...without phoning it in, of course. ;)
