Male/Female Categories

These weight loss success stories need to be split up into male/female categories. I notice that this site is mostly dominated by women stories. It would be convenient to filter threads by gender. Moderators: Can this be done???

Success is not determined by gender. This forum is to celebrate the achievements of fellow members and to be inspired by them. I don't care if it is a boy or girl showin' off their new bodies, it is all awesome!

I agree. It would be great if I could search for success stories of people who I can relate to. I'm a 38 year old male, 6'1", 214 lbs. For example, when I read a success story of a 70 year old woman who lost 200lbs, hell yeah that's inspiring, but I can't relate to that. Or a girl who's 19 years old and had 20 lbs to lose. Again, very motivating, but unrelatable. I wish I could search for success stories of guys in my age category who had 25lb to 50lbs to lose.

You would probably need to post this in the Website Suggestions/Feedback message board.

    Exactly my point.

This should be under website suggestions.
  • I am a female who had to gain weight and now am maintaining, but any and all success stories are a helpful motivation to me.

I agree, while I love seeing all these women (and some men) have great success. I often really like looking at mens success stories as there is more relation, much of a 'if he can do it, so can I" that I just don't get with female threads. With the ladies I get impressed, but not particularly motivated.

There was a really cool mens success pic thread a while ago I'll see if I can dig it up.
