I love to exercise in the morning. I feel it makes the day better. But I'm having trouble keeping energized. I fell super weak in the mornings even after a good breakfast. Would drinking whey protein help energize me in the morning? I'm not really into energy pills or anything. I just want to be able to bust out a really good morning exersice instead of struggling to complete a workoit.

How many calories do you eat in an average day?0

Some people find food before exercise to be beneficial.. but usually it's carb based. But how many calories do you average in a day? And can you open your food diary?0

Good, bad, or indifferent, I like to take a pre-work out drink before I go. Especially if I go late at night, its sometimes hard to get motivated. I use AC/G3 from GNC 30 minutes before my workout and I have the energy I need.0

I lift first thing in the morning. The only two things I consume beforehand are coffee (with cream and some sort of sweetener) and creatine. I typically have no problems.
As others have mentioned - how much are you eating during the day? And again, opening your diary would help.0 -

So you're training fasted?
You might not be able to handle it, I can't. It works for some, and not for some.
Trying eating a good carb breakfast like oatmeal / protein pancakes, or a protein based cereal like Kashi Go Lean.
Stay away from pre-work out crap they sell at GNC. It's basically massive amounts of caffeine and if coffee doesn't really effect you, pre-workouts won't. Not only that, but your body will get use to it and when you stop, expect your workouts to suffer as well. And you will do nothing with your body but hurt it if you're taking in too few calories.0
