I do 30 mins on my exercise bike every morning, level 5/6 and do a distance of 13km, my bike says ive burnt 200 calories whereas a few different calorie working out pages are saying with my weight im burning around 450 - anyone have any idea which is right? Xx

26km/h is a reasonably brisk pace but on an exercise bike you're not dealing with wind resistance, inclines etc etc.
According to my Garmin HRM I'll burn about 600 cal/hr in my triathlon spinning class (typically it's a pretty intense workout and I'm going to guess that I weigh more than you do) which is reasonably consistent with my estimated expenditures riding outside when there's no ice and snow - I'd be inclined to think the real number is somewhere closer to the 200 than the 450.0 -
Sorry, ive only just found my posts, thank you, thats quite gutting but with what youve said it makes sense, ll just have to work twice as hard xxx0
