what are the differences between Chia seeds, Hemp seeds/ hearts, flax seeds? I was thinking of getting some of the seeds but i was wondering what the benefits of each are? Is there a certain type that is healthier/ more beneficial than the others? Do you have any tips for using them? What do you use them with?

I know adding chia seed will help you feel full and add fibre, have omega6 and omega 3. I add some to pretty much everything I eat or make.0

Yup, I add chia seeds to my shakes. I don't know much about the other things the OP listed, but chia seeds also help keep you regular ;P0 -

Flax also helps aid in digestion and the sort, good fiber. I add chia and flax to my shake in the morning (get the pre ground stuff) im thinking about adding hemp seeds. They are also supposed to aid in feeling full and also aid in heart health and energy Im no expert or anything, but i don't really find any of them have an taste really, so i just blend it right in my shake0 -
Ok... so maybe not strictly on topic, but apparently you can make jams and jell-o like dishes using chia... anybody tried it? My wife puts chia in her smoothies, she forgot to take it with her to work and when I came home I had to spoon it out of the travel mug to toss it... Probably should have given it shot but I didn't know if she used milk or not....0

My understanding is that nutritionally, they're pretty much the same. I use all three, mostly I throw them in my smoothies or eat them with oatmeal or yogurt. I've never noticed the taste of them in anything but the yogurt, but it's not bad at all.0

I have recently started looking into this myself.....bought flax seed powder and have added it to things to boost the fiber/nutritional value. Taste good to me (nutty). I also have lucked into a book called "500 of the Healthiest Recipes & Health Tips You'll Ever Need: To Improve Your Health, Boost Your Energy, Stimulate Your Brain, and Stay Young" by Hazel Courteney, Stephen Langley--available online and at B&N. This book has LOTS of good info on uses of these types of nutrition boosters.0

I prefer hemp hearts first and foremost for nutrient content and less inflammatory issues than chia and flax.
Flax is known to go rancid right quickly.0 -
I am curious about these too.
Are they expensive? I heard Flax was ...
Eating healthy can be expensive!0
