Stabilizing Sugars

Ok, so we know that to balance out an intake of sodium, we drink lots and lots of water....but what if sugar in your macros is high? Easy tigers, I'm not scarfing donuts and girl scout cookies... I'm getting my sugar from (mostly) healthy food choices like greek yogurt, low-sodium soups, and a fiber supplement I take, but are there other food groups that can help me, for lack of a better term, "cancel out" going above my daily Sugar allowance??
