Getting Started Round 2

Hey everyone! So I've been on MFP for a while now but haven't been very active. I'm looking for some new friends and a solid support group for the next step of my fitness journey. I'm 25 years old, 5'6, and weigh 150 pounds. Throughout my life, I have done a lot of yo-yo dieting and I was at my worst my sophomore year of college when I weighed 205. From 2010-2013 I was in grad school and I fluctuated between 158-168 which was at least more stable and healthy than undergrad. Back in October, I decided that I wasn't in school anymore and needed to make my fitness and weight goals happen. No regrets. I increased my running in terms of duration and days per week I ran. I've also drastically changed my diet to include things like salads, nuts, fish, etc.. (Side note - I'm a pescatarian) This has gotten me to my current weight of 150. A few weeks ago I decided to add in some workouts that weren't just cardio for the month of February. So I'm doing 3-4 mile runs 3 days a week, plus ab workouts, insanity plyometrics once a week, and the brazilian butt lift video twice a week. Also doing some squats, lunges, and pushups. SInce I'm new to these types of workouts, I am not doing too many reps or sets quite yet, but I am pushing myself.

My GOALS: I want to be around the 135lb mark. I know the number isn't super important, but that's about where I feel my body needs to be. I want to tone up a lot. The cardio has helped with weight loss, and I am noticing some overall improvement in my abs and legs, but I want to tone my arms (triceps), inner thighs, and abs even more as well as continue to lose weight. I feel like I'm stuck at 150.

My concerns: Some days, I eat just 1200 or below calories. Other days, I go off the deep end. My boyfriend and I lived together for 2 years but unfortunately have to date long distance for a few months due to his job. I see him on weekends and that pretty much accounts for my eating habits. 1000-1200 on weekdays and lots of wine, chocolate, thai food, etc.. on weekends. (I shouldn't have even typed those words, yumm). I don't want my body to go into starvation mode but I also feel like I won't lose weight if I eat more than I do. I'm sure I'd be fine if I ate 1300ish and didn't have those cheat days which is what I'm striving for.

If anyone has similar goals or struggles or are just interested in sharing your story and being my MFP friend, then definitely add me and/or write a message. I'd really love to make some new friends!

(Another side note, my prof pic is obviously not me, I just love the beach and will hopefully post some pics soon)
