Calorie Discrepancy, Help me?

I have a bit of a discrepancy here, not sure what to enter. bike ride one I custom entered the map today, and bike ride two i let the mapmyride program do it. together it says i burned 1432 calories. Most of the time my watch is very close to that number. The watch goes by heart rate, the longer your heart (in the optimal zone) is elevated the more you burn. Now my watch today says 9700 calories burned for the last 12 hours. What do I enter for my extra? Not 8268 that's way too much right? How about the average 1,200 I usually put? I don't want to go and eat these calories, I just want to be as accurate as I can be.
