how quickly did your fitness improve?

I was very surprised at how quickly it improved. I started walking on Feb 2, and thought I was going to die before I finished a mile. Now I'm doing 2.5 - 3.0 miles 6 days a week.0

I noticed a significant change in about a month...as I keep pushing, I continue to see improvements.
~one month ago, could barely do fifty singles jumping rope. Now, I can push out 200 w/o too much effort...even throwing in a few double unders.
~November could only walk, now running 3 to 5 miles each run0
