Just saying Hi

Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself;
I'm a 42 year old bloke from Kent who has just decided to get rid of the little bit of paunch that seems to have been hanging around since I last saw my abs 5 years ago (possibly more lol).
I found the MFP app and have to say it's amazing, I love the fact that there are so many foods in its massive database.
I'm 5' 6 and my weight was 11st 10lbs (164lbs), and I was fed up so decided to do something about it. I want to get down to 10st 6lbs (146lbs), to lose my belly fat start with, then build muscle back up to around 11st with good definition.
I already cycle 5 miles each way to work 5 days a week (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat), and play 5 a side once a week (when our games aren't cancelled) and 11 a side on Sundays.
I'm doing some other cardio, push-ups, crunches and planks every day, and a quick burst weights session a couple of times a week (I know I need to build this up and get a more organised routine).
I used to be a bit of a runner, having done Paris and London marathons (both in respectable times), and have started running again, although this is proving harder than I thought it would be, with my thighs killing me after just 2 mile runs!!
Been on a strict calorie controlled diet (1200 per day) for just over 3 weeks now, and lost 9 lbs in the first 2 weeks, then just 2 lbs in the 3rd week.
My problem is I can't see any reduction in the belly fat. My core muscles are there, as when I tense my stomach is flat and solid, with just a thin layer of flabby tissue over the top. I really want to shift this last bit of fat but I'm struggling to see any improvement. Yes, I know this last bit is always the hardest, but I'm worried that the weight is coming off other places where it shouldn't be due to the reduced calorie intake, and the stubborn belly is here to stay!
My waist has reduced, down from 32/34 to 30 again already.
Any ideas?
