I've been looking for some workout shoes. I tried Asics, New Balance and some cheap-o's from Academy. They were hard and uncomfortable.
I found some LA Gear sneakers for $20 at TJMAXX that have the big thick "fitness" sole... they seemed very comfy.
Anyone tried them or LA Gear?
What do you think?

I have not seen LA Gear since I was 13....20 years ago! I didn't even know they still made them!
Personally, I am a fan of Saucony and ASICS. I get mine fitted at a Running store, to make sure that I purchase the right model for my foot. (I have flat feet and over pronate). They are usually quite a bit more money, but well worth it down the road to avoid seeing a Podiatrist (been there, done that!)0
