Opinions on best headphones, please

So right now I have Skull Candy headphones that have nothing to do with fitness at all. They were just a pair that were pretty when my hubby bought them for me. I've had them for a few years and have sweat profusely on them. I've started to notice the sound quality on them has gone down. I've done minimal research, but want to hear from the MFP community on what you guys prefer for headphones. Thanks everyone!

"Best" is completely subjective. I use Plantronics bluetooth headphones for my workouts ... no cord, decent sound reproduction, gives me full phone capability if I need it, water resistant enough to withstand sweat, rain, and water dumped over my head on a long run. If you were happy with your Skull Candy for a few years, get another pair ... that's a pretty good life span. X1 makes water resistant corded earbuds .... bluebird makes good bluetooth buds. The choice depends on personal preference (form, fit, price, etc).0
