How did it feel when you lost your troublesome areas?

Hey all,

Looking for a little inspiration/motivation. Sometimes losing the trouble areas can cause a lot of disappointment and frustration.

How long did it take you to lose yours? How did it feel? Any advice for everyone else?

My troublesome area was my gut. My wife called it "Belly Friend". She sometimes jokes how sad it is that Belly Friend is gone.

I'm afraid I don't understand the disappointment and frustration. I'm so happy it's gone I still can barely believe it, almost 2 years after I first hit my goal (using another app.)

    - Clothes fit me better: I knew this would happen, but it's almost shocking how much better
    - I don't spill food on my shirt anymore: because the food starts out closer to my mouth
    - Intimacy (ahem) is significantly improved
    - My near-constant acid reflux is a distant memory

I could go on but that's the gist of it.

Still working on it, but when I look down and see only boobs and not boobs and a belly, I am pretty thrilled.

ETA - Been on a calorie deficit since September 2013. Been lifting weights since December and lifting real weights since January, and I have already seen a difference.

My trouble areas were always my thighs and butt, even when I was thin in high school. I had no clear definition between *kitten* and back of the thigh, and I had the dreaded chub rub. It's all but gone in the past year I started lifting heavy weights.

Hardly a day goes by when I don't pass a window or mirror and marvel that those thighs I see are really mine, and you can see daylight between them!

Common theme: Weights so far from responses.

That's good, always nice to hear stories of people who made it happen for a little inspiration.
