I had a big binge birthday weekend (drank about 1,500 calories of alcohol in one day! That's not counting food!) last weekend and I vowed not to weigh myself until March 1st so as not to get discouraged.

Instead, I measured. The last time I measured was 2 weeks ago on Feb. 6th. I have lost 1 inch on my waist, hips AND thighs!

I started Jan 1st at a 33" waist, 42.5" hips and 26.5" thighs @171 lbs

NOW I'm 30.5" waist, 40.5" hips and 25" thighs. @164 lbs

I've only lost 7 lbs, and I am doing mostly cardio and 1 day a week of squats/lunges with dumbbells, so I don't think I'm lifting enough to be building muscle, but I'm losing inches regardless - YAY!

Don't give up - even if you binge or have a crazy high-calorie vacation like I did! Stay on track afterwards and your body will respond!
