Keeping Motivated & Sticking With It-- my strategy!

Hi everyone,
I have been struggling lately with keeping myself under my calorie goals-- partially because I've been HUNGRY and partially because I was just getting tired of worrying about how much I eat all the time.
Something very useful occurred to me the other night, that I think will help a LOT. If I do strength training, then instead of worrying so much about how many calories I burn, then I both get exercise and I think about the muscles I'm building (I know, it is frequently said that you can't lose weight and build muscle at the same time but through my own experience I respectfully disagree). And when I think about gaining nicer muscles, I want to continue losing fat so they show more!
That is a huge motivator for me. I thought it might help someone else, too.

That's a great strategy and one i use often. When I get the urge to binge, I tell myself after a workout I can eat. I find i'm not so hungry after a workout so it thwarts the derailment
Good luck!0 -
