Sugar Addiction

I have been struggling with a huge sugar addiction, every time I eat a meal, I have to have dessert. It drives me nuts and I keep craving that fix. If I don't have sugar, I get all anxious, and lose focus. Sometimes I feel like I indulge on sweets the most when I am super stress, nervous, or having a bad day with negative thoughts. Then I get headaches when I have too much sugar. How can I suppress this issue? What can I do about this?
