3 months ago I had my cholesterol checked and my triglycerides were 266. I'm proud to report that after 3 months of following a healthier diet, cutting out most refined carbs, and working to fit more exercise in my life (still working on mastering this one), my triglycerides are now 126
. My HDL also increased a few points. Whatya know... exercising and eating healthy actually works

That's an awesome NSV!!!! I can't wait to have my levels checked when I go back to the doctor. Actually, I know mine have probably improved already, but I'm waiting to schedule the appointment after I'm down 20 pounds. I want to make the nurse proud too since she weighs me in.
Congratulations again!0 -

That's fantastic! I also had almost that exact number about a month ago, and I go for another checkup in April. I'm hoping to have similar results. My blood pressure was also high, and I am hoping that diet and exercise can bring that down, too.0
