What am I doing wrong?

I've been tracking religiously for a few weeks now but I have gained 5 pounds and haven't lost anything. Everyday for about 3 weeks I have been under my calorie goal except for 2 days. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Diary not open. You have to be specific about what you are eating and how much, what your height and weight are and what your goal is.
    How do you know you are under?

    Do you use a food scale to weigh all food you consume?

    What kind of exercise do you do?

    If you open your diary we can see what and how you are tracking your calories. Also try taking your measurements and see if there has been any progress that way. Weight can vary from day to day depending on sodium intake/water retention, etc. Do you measure/weigh your food to get any accurate idea of calories? How do you calculate your calorie burn? A heart rate monitor is usually more accurate that the calorie burn you're given by a machine at a gym or a guess from a website.
