I need help and advice

So here it is I started at almost 279 lbs...I have lost 64 lbs since August of 2013 thru December of 2013 since the beginning of the year I have been up and down on my weight i still have about 45 to 55 lbs to lose so I still have a significant amount of weight to lose and I just can't seem to get it off. I have been up and down since Jan 2014...What am I doing wrong? I have recently been following my mom's point plus program and have been sticking to the plan exactly not even eating my extra points and with nothing...I drink alot of water daily with only 2 cups of coffee and 1 can of diet Mt dew a day if even that..but I exercise 6 days a week walking and running with that combined it's about 3 to 4 miles a night...I honestly don't know what to do...It's very upsetting I have 1 year to get the rest of the weight off as I'm my sisters maid of honor...I have to do this and don't want to go back to where I came from...any advice would be greatly appreciated...
