Any Diabetic/Low Glycemic Index Pescatarians?

Options
Hey everyone,

I am just interested in looking at the diaries of people who are doing this diet because I know carbs (bad carbs) have been a big factor as to why I am always hungry and always gaining. I used to be a “calories in calories out” kind of person, which I still know this works for weight loss, but I am concerned not only with weight loss, but nutrition. Anyway, if you have any tips or tricks on how to limit the carbs with a mostly meat free diet, then feel free to share! I eat eggs, some diary, and fish (mostly local caught) but no other animal products. My biggest weakness is pasta, so pasta alternatives would be great too.

Here are some pasta alternatives I have found:

Asian Black Bean "Pasta" (made of black beans and water)
Spaghetti Squash
Spiralized veggies
Quinoa Pasta (which has corn in it)

The black bean pasta is in the mail since I have no health food stores where I live so I haven't tried them, nor have I used my quinoa noodles just yet.

Best wishes to everyone! :)

I do eat meat, but I'm trying to eat fewer carbs and increase my fish intake (good for the heart).

I'm just starting and my diary isn't perfect, but your welcome to add me if you want. :-)
