Do some foods make you more hungry?

Does this happen to anyone else? There are certain foods that after I eat I feel more hungry. Some examples, peanut butter, bagels, pasta, beans, some cereal. I could sit and eat a normal size portion of pasta and then go back and eat an entire additional serving because I am so hungry. I do try to always pair it with a protein, but it often does not help!
