Cacao?

Is cacao really that nutritious as it is claimed to be? I don't eat chocolate often, though due to hormones sometimes I start craving chocolate - I prefer dark chocolate, 70% or over but I am still not impressed by the amount of sugar in dark chocolate. Recently heard about cacao but seems too good to be true, with all of the antioxidants and vitamins it is claimed to have.
Hypothetically would cacao be something that could be eaten every day? Or it is something consumed in moderation? Is it really that healthy? Would help me through some really tough times if it were true though.

Everything in moderation. Fit it into your day like you would your other calories. I'm a big believer in stress being a killer, and if some cacao helps you through stressful times, it is a good choice.0

What is cacao? Is it just the cocoa solid? Is it a brand?
Pure cocoa solid is pretty neat, it can have up to 10% flavonoids which have a long list of health benefits ranging from anti-allergic to anti-viral. Plus, it has a ton of minerals. Good stuff. Kind of bitter and dry though.0 -
Cacao is cocoa in its raw state apparently. Was just wondering if it was a gimmick to be honest.0

I use it in my smoothies. I like it for the chocolate flavor it adds. I don't see why you couldn't use it every day if you wanted to. I don't just because I like to mix up my smoothie add ins.0
