Hi All
Please can anyone help me, How many Gram's are in a Cup? We dont use cup size to measure food in the UK.

It depends on what is in the cup. 1 metric cup of water is 250 grams while the same cup filled with flour is 150 grams. Have a look at this website for some common conversions (for metric cups): http://www.taste.com.au/how+to/articles/369/weights+measurement+charts#convers0

If your from the UK you can buy plastic measuring cups from ASDA
I bought some the day after joining MFP, it makes life easier0 -
So I'm just curious, do you folks in the UK measure everything on a scale?0

No we measure in ml for volume though for dry stuff a scale is a lot better than a cup0

Im soooo glad you asked this question, as i've been having the same problem!!
Im terrible at knowing what portion size I put in things...Didnt even realise how much 4 haribo sweets was :-(
