Polar FT7 and H1 sensor question

I am trying here because I have had no luck getting through to Polar Tech support.

I have a polar FT7 that is a few years old. My sensor has been giving me trouble, I could not even get the back off to change the battery. I decided to get a new sensor and I bought the H1 sensor on ebay. I received it today, and I am at a complete loss how to pair it with my training watch. The user manuals and video tutorials on Polars wesbite show how to use the HRM, but not how to pair.

Can anyone help me with this?

    Sorry but did you ever got an answer on this? Where you able to solve the issue?

    Holy resurrection thread Batman.

    You should just be able to press the OK button (middle one) on the FT7 and it will search for the H1. That is all you have to do, there are no other settings.
    If it is not picking up your H1 then i would change the battery in the sensor.
