I think I've hit a plateau...

I have been working out since Sept 19th of 2013. I have lost 30 lbs since then, most of which were the first 3 months. It seems I haven't lost anything (or nearly as much) in the last 2 months. I keep my calorie count around 1600 a day because I found anything lower than that puts me into starvation mode and I start to gain again. I work out for an hour 6 days a week. I do various strength training every other day and burn at least 250 calories everyday with cardio. I change up my routine often to keep my body from getting used to any one routine. I was stuck at 208 for a month or so and then got down to 202 over a couple weeks and have been stuck there for a month. I've had tests done to make sure my hormones and thyroid are functioning properly, I eat healthy and balanced and my doctor says I'm doing everything right...so why am I not getting any results?

average out your losses over longer time periods and see they equal out to the deficit you are eating - so if you are set for a 1lb a week loss did you lose about 12 lbs over 3 months?

It sounds like you just lose in stages which happens for some people. Weight loss is not always linear and it varies from person to person.

Also have you re-evaluated your calorie goals since you lost the origional 30 lbs, the smaller you are the fewer calories you need. And the general question of how accurately are you logging your food, do you weigh everything?
