moist turkey burgers
1 pkg. ground turkey
1 egg yolk
1/3 c. buttermilk
3 ounce jalapeno cheese, shredded fine
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1Tbs. oatmeal, ground fine or 4 saltines crushed into a powder
1 can green chillies
Mix all together and form patties place in refrigerator to help the
patties hold together. Amber and I cooked them the following way and
it did better than frying in a pan.
Broil on high, line broiling pan with foil , spay both side of slatted
top of broil pan with cooking spray. Put a little olive oil on each
side of pattie.
Broil 4 minutes on each side until internal temp is 160 degrees.
