Medicine that curbs your appetite

I am currently on medication that tends to diminish your appetite or get rid of it all together. MFP suggests I consume 1,260 per day (before exercise) but I am having a very hard time reaching this since I'm not hungry. My doctor did recommend that I eat when the clock says it’s time to eat to avoid skipping meals but I get full really fast and just cannot eat what I need to. I am scared that this will make me lose weight the wrong and unhealthy way and gain it back once I am off the meds.

Is anyone else struggling with this? Any advise, tips or suggestions are appreciated.

Eat calorie dense food such as nuts, seeds, nut butters and others. This way you get the calories without having to eat a large quantity of food.

Avocado!!! Good for you, higher in calories and full of the good fat!
  • Thank you very much for your posts. Both are really good ideas - just might have to give them a shot!
