Feeling bloated after eating too much

Is it more likely to be what I ate, or just the fact I ate too much?

I found that over the Xmas period when I let myself eat however much I wanted, and just recorded it, I often felt a bit uncomfortable and not like eating. A little bit bloated some days.

I haven't felt like that since until today.

Last night I went to a friends and the invite text said "Bring food if you wanna be a cool kid"

I took grapes, but I kind of let myself eat whatever I wanted, even though I had already had a big dinner and was not feeling at all hungry.

I only ate about 200 calories of food, but it was much more processed carby type food then I normally eat.

And now today I feel bloated and like everything is stuck (even though I am pooping :P )

Maybe I should add that my dinner was quite starchy as I cooked potato and kumara to go with my meat and veges.

And then I ate half a muffin, a chocolate covered cookie called a 'mallow wheel', some home-made ice-cream, a glass of 'low calorie' cordial and some grapes.

I don't feel bad about eating it, I am just going to eat a little less today.

But I do hate the way my digestive system feels right now. :(

Maybe I just need to avoid having a starchy dinner when I know I am going to a friends for supper.
