I would love to have some new fish recipes in my rotation. Trying to eat fish at least twice per week for the heart healthy benefits. My favorite fish is salmon. I also like shellfish like clams, shrimp, etc.
I'm not a huge fan of really "fishy" smelling fish, but I'm open if it's the right recipe.
Thanks for sharing!

We always love fish chowder. Many recipes on www.all recipes.com. We use haddock because it cooks so well and doesn't smell

Grill or pan fry fish and serve with Salsa Verde. If pan frying, dredge in flour first so the fish develops a crispy crust.
Salsa verde:
1/2 cup italian parsley
2Tbsps capers
1tsp dijon mustard
1 large clove garlic
1/4 cup olive oil
1 1/2 Tbsps lemon juice
Combine in a food processor, adding the oil last in a drizzle. Salt to taste. Optional additions would be pitted olives or anchovies.0 -
Ok this is my favourite way of having fish. Get some tin foil and lay a piece of greaseproof paper on top of it that is just smaller than the foil. Place a fillet of your favourite fish and about 6 clams or mussels (cleaned) around the edges. Put about 1/4 tsp minced garlic, and about a thumbnail piece of butter in the fish and half a tomato chopped. Seal up the foil and paper so it makes a small bag or parcel and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Serve with a salad/ quinoa/ cous cous or some boiled potatoes.0

I love salmon, the best is on the BBQ grill but broiling is good too. Rinse the fillet and pat dry, quick spray of pam olive oil across, squeeze fresh lemon all over it sprinkle with mrs dash onion herb seasoning and cracked pepper, broil for 6 min per side or until done. Yum.0

Take a salmon fillet and split to make a pocket. Stuff with a slice of mozzarella cheese and sun dried tomato. Dab a little seasoned butter (garlic or lemon) on top. Put in a dish, cover with film and microwave for about 3.5 mins. Done! Just add whatever veggies you fancy. You can also wrap it in foil and oven bake but the microwave helps keep the juices and flavour in.0

Another recipe .... Any white fish, smoked fish and salmon (also raw prawns if you like), cube and put in oven roof dish. Pour over a white or parsley or cheese sauce and top with mashed (crushed) cooked potatoes. Rough up the top so it goes crispy and bake in the oven on 200 for about 40 mins.0

And a third .... Whole rainbow trout (if you don't want to do it yourself ask the fish monger to take the head off and fillet but leave the skin on). Stuff with ricotta and spinach and a little seasoned butter. Either put in a dish, cover with film and microwave for around 4 mins or wrap in foil and oven bake. Once out of the oven peel the skin off (very easy once cooked) and serve with veggies or salad. This is delicious hot or cold!0
