Hi.
Over the years I have tried several diets, lost weight then slowly regained it. Years ago I did Weight Watchers and that taught me to not think of if as a diet but as a healthy way of living which is so much better. After leaving UK 12 years and moving to France the weight slowly crept back on till about 7 years ago I reached 40 years of age and didn't like being fat and forty! I found Tesco e-diets and did really well - getting from about 95kgs down to 70kgs ( I am about 5'10) but in reality that was too low for me though at the time I thought I was looking great no w I see the photos and don't like them. Anyway the weight has again crept back on and so on 6th January thisyear I started again on my own logging everything but not always weighing everything. Then a week later my husband found MFP and I log everything on here and occassionnally look at the community boards. I don't weigh everything as my husband does most of the cooking and if he had to weigh everything for me he wouldn't do it. I do cook occassionally but I have the other resposonsibilities of the housework and the admin of our business (we run a business looking after peoples second homes - gardens, pools, houses, holiday changeovers etc)
What I am looking for is some motivational help when I struggle and to see if anyone is in France as=nd knows how didfficult it can be with the socialising and the French attitude to eating and drinking
any one out there?
