Can someone explain the difference please? And how to do each?

Although there maybe an additional definition, push-ups are American and press ups are British.
Planks start in the same position, but don't move: all of the focus is on maintaining stability for as long as possible, to strengthen the stabilizing muscles.0 -
Push ups and press ups are the same, but the differnece btwn push ups and planks - my understanding - In a plank your arms and hands are DIRECTLY under your shoulders, or you are on your forearms. In a push up your hands are placed wider than your shoulders0
