Where to go from here

Ok I've lost 15lbs and I'm kinda liking the way my body is now not skinny but not fat either uk size 14 (I don't suit being a slim 12 or under, I just look odd) ok so here's where I'm a bit stuck now, to start with I was all about the scale now I'm not that bothered I've reached a point where I'm cormforable and my clothes fit better but here's my problem I'd like to tone up (still wobbly in lots of places) so do I change to maintenance and just exercise and not log my exercise calories or do I still set my goals to lose 0.5 lbs

  • I would change to maintenance but continue exercise.

    Most people overestimate energy expenditure and underestimate energy intake, so worst case scenario that extra bit of energy will improve your muscle gains help you to 'tone' up.

    What you need to be really really careful of however is relapse. At this point, without a solid goal, many and I mean most people will relapse to some extent because they lose drive and become complacent.

    Set new goals, to build muscle, get leaner, run a marathon whatever you want but do not become idle as it's far to easy to end up back at square one!
