Fasting short term

I was wondering if it would be good to do like a 3 day fast to lose weight just once in awhile like I've heard about that whole starvation mood thing and that's not long term I heard fasting could be beneficial once in awhile.

Research intermittent fasting. Not three days, but one or two 24 hour fasts a week while eating at or close to maintenance is an alternative to daily calorie deficits.

^^ this. I have done the 5:2 fasting, combined with some weeks of 4:3 and ADF. 5:2 means you eat under 500 cal (women)/ 600 cal (men) for tw non consecutive days a week and the rest of the week you eat normal, albeit staying udner your TDEE.

Here is a calculator for your TDEE:

4:3 is the same as above but here you fast 3 days; ADF means alternate day fasting - so one day as above and the next normal, followed by a fast day...

I have lsot 8 kgs in 12 weeks and that is quite an achievement considering that I did not have to lose much. (Down from 65kg to 57.1kg)

It does work very well but the real important thing is to not over eat on your feed days!
