Just stretch every day. Find your comfort zone, then go slightly beyond it and hold for 15-30 seconds. Release. Try again.
It won't be a fast adjustment, but over time you'll become more flexible.

Fitnessblender.com has a number of stretching routines, both active and static.

Yoga did wonders for my flexibility. If you can find a cheap or free yoga class for beginners, I highly recommend it.

Yeah, I can find the classes. I'm just kind of a cardio junkie. I feel guilty when I do yoga although I did the p90x yoga once, and let me tell you, I never worked so hard.

It's really just a matter of getting back into the habit of doing it again. Stretch everyday, and you'll find in a week, you'll be more flexible than you were. Just keep at it. Our bodies are wonderful at regaining things we couldn't do before!

Yoga's good, or if you're looking for pretty intensive stretching, I really like Fit & Bendy's contortion stretching DVD - it's an hour long and it takes you through exercises for splits, backbends, and other "extreme" positions. It's helped me get my straddle splits back to something reasonable-looking, which is saying something!
