Electronic tablets: What kind do you have?

Options
wanted a tablet/laptop hybrid. But I'm to cheap.
I don't want an IPad.

But I have decided I want a tablet.
But there's so many tablets out there.
So.my question for you is what kind of tablet do you have?
What do you love about it? & roughly how much did you spend?

    Nexus 7.2
    Awesome, love it
    Runs android
    $250
    Get one : )

Its not too big/small and it's easy to understand. I found the price very reasonable. Only downside was when I had bought it there was no case/cover yet so I had to buy one online. But I'm sure they've come out with one by now.

I have the Nexus 7 and feel the same way. I love it! My laptop broke and I haven't even bothered to replace it because I don't feel like I need it since I have this instead.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. Cheap, does everything that I need and it follows me everywhere. Like the poster above, I haven't bothered replacing my PC.

    Nexus is a solid choice.
The NOOK HD is also nice.
    And so is Galaxy Tab.

I'd say these are three of your best bets for the non-iPad tablets.

eee slate 121 windows 7 tablet is awesome but xxy
It's a full computer. It's old too now and you would probably be able to get it cheap 2nd hand

also using Bauhn androids from ALDI.
between my friends we have tried the 3 most recent models
They do the job and are more bang for buck in the cheap tablet range
    Today's model is a quadcore.
Can't ask for more than that

The above answer yields all that the OP needs

    Bit of a geek....

    Apple iPad 4
    Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 8"
    Samsung Galaxy Tab Note 10.1"

    Still use my laptop too!

I hardly use the smaller Tab and everything goes on my Note. I also use my iPhone to track on MFP while out :-)

Saw the title and thought you meant drawing tablet  I have a Wacom Intuos Pro, though, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to do digital artwork.

I have a 4th generation 32GB iPad. I didn't really see the point of tablets since I have a laptop and it seemed redundant until I got one about a year ago and I love it! I think I paid $600 for it because it was the brand new version when I bought it.

I mostly use it to read books on the Kindle app, watch movies/anime on Netflix and Crunchyroll, and use apps like Pinterest, Facebook and MFP. I'll also use it to do research (*cough* look up walkthroughs while I'm playing video games *cough*) on the internet.

It's a pretty useful little device! I didn't bother with a data plan but I can see why people get them if they travel for business a lot.

Secondhand RM something. Runs Windows XP. No apps... actual software that can run on a Windows PC. Tis a bit slow these days but I'm struggling to convince myself to go from proper software to what look like amateur half-baked solutions - I mean, I've got MS Office, Photoshop etc on a tablet.

I probably look like a hipster. But I'm just tight, lazy and old.

I don't have one, and not for lack of means. I don't want one. I just think they are superfluous and a little bit douchebaggy. Anything a tablet can do I can do just as easily on my cellphone or my laptop. If someone gave me one for free, I'd sell it. That's how little I'd care to own one. Shrug.
