So due personal reasons my exercise regime has been cut down to twice a week, which is getting me paranoid I won't lose weight.

So to get it right in my head. As long as I am in a calorie deficit I will lose even without exercise.

I've had bad couple of weeks diet wise due to things happening, but mind is back in right place now. So from Tomo going to change my calorie allowance and reduce it by 180 calories to 1500. And as long as under that I should lose right?

My BMR is 1470.25.

Just want the reassurance that I can lose without exercise till I can get back on track exercise wise.

Exercise has minimal effect on weightloss. Exercise is for fitness and general health yes it can help with the deficit but that's it. So as long as you eat within your calories you can still lose weight. I have a very inspiring friend on my feed who has hurt his back and is in lots of pain and at present unable to do anything. He still loses consistently between 1 and 2 pounds a week. Just stick within your ccalories

Yes...I agree.... Years ago I started to exercise regularly at a gym for women here in the U.S. that was quite popular - Curves. I was very upset that after several months I didn't lose any weight. Then, I started Weight Watchers and learned (yes, I had to "learn" this) that I was eating too much. It took a while, but in a year, I lost 30 pounds on Weight Watchers. During that time, the only "exercise" I did was walking. So, if you watch your caloric intake, you will be fine.
    Good luck to you! :flowerforyou:
