Lunch Ideas

Hi I was just wondering if anyone could help with some ideas for lunches to take to work
I work Mon-Fri and find I get a lot hungrier in work than I do on my days off, however I'm getting pretty bored of sandwiches every day, so I tend to skip and then am starving by the time I get home, which obviously isn't good. Plus unfortunately I don't have access to a microwave to take soups etc.
Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You could try an insulated thermos to take soups to work. Fill the thermos with very hot water first, get your soup as hot as possible, then replace the water with the soup. You can buy an insulated lunch bag and add a hot or cold pack depending upon your need.
I've been doing wraps using Mission Carb Control tortilla wraps instead of bread. They have low net carbs but even if that's not an issue for you, they have 13 gms of fiber which is awesome for keeping me feeling full.
Tuna salad is a nice change of pace. I buy it already made in a pouch for 100 calories. A nice salad with some kind of protein, like chicken, turkey, bacon or hardboiled eggs. Greek yogurt, which is higher in protein than regular yogurt, with mixed fruit is great for a lighter lunch when you're not very hungry.
I do get bored taking my lunch every day too. I discovered I must have some kind of protein or I'll be ravenously hungry by the time I get home.0 -
I like packing a salad with sliced chicken breast. I usually cook 4 or 5 chicken breasts on Sunday. I make a salad huge with greens and veggies, then slice up a chicken breast over it. I use different dressings to keep the flavor changing up. I also like eating whole wheat bagel thins and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. I will buy the cups of fruit to add to the cottage cheese when it starts to get old to change its flavor too.
I have some protein bars at work to eat when I get the munchies too. Look for ones that are not meal replacements, but protein bars. Meal replacement bars are high in calorie. I look for ones that are under 200 calories, have at least 10 g of protein and chocolate in the flavor. I'll eat half a bar (or a whole one...) when I get hungry in the afternoon. Almost every day I'm hungry around 3pm and the protein bars help a lot.0
