I've dated a couple of firefighters (not at the same time).... is that the same? ;-)

I was a volunteer FF for six years. I was seriously overweight for all of those years and it made things really difficult. I actually puked a few times from overextending myself. My husband was the chief and was also overweight. With volunteers, many of them seemed to be overweight. Setting a good example always helps. My husband is a volunteer FF again with a new dept. And is working on losing weight.

There are firefighters who get paid and those that volunteer. It is the same job and we all have to do the same thing and same training

Please tell him to keep it up. It is a demanding job and there are too many line of duty deaths from firefighters that are overweight
