Interval Running Outside (What do you use?)

I love interval running. I am slowly increasing my interval times and building endurance. Now that the weather is getting nice, I would like to run outside (as opposed to my hamster wheel downstairs!).
Any suggestions on good devices that will help me keep time? I don't want to have to carry my phone and try to see through the glare, etc. It's tedious.
Also, I do not have a smartphone (my husband and I got rid of them so we wouldn't ignore each other all night...lol), so apps will do me no good.
Thanks!

I use my Garmin Forerunner 610, it has an interval setting, where you can customize how long you want to warm up, run, recover, and cool down for. You can do intervals by distance or time. The 610 is a bit pricey, but Garmin makes some other models. A site called DC Rainmaker has really good product reviews, and can point you towards what you need for the price you want.0

I have been using my Garmin FR60 with the footpod. It has an Interval feature where you can set either time or distance intervals and as many as you want. I just got a Garmin 310XT which also has this feature but haven't used it yet.
Also, I have a loop in the road where I live that is really close to a quarter mile. I use it so I don't have to drive to a track but before I lived here I used to drive to the middle school near my house and use the track there.0 -
I just use a regular digital watch with a chrono on it. I lightly jog for 1 minute, run for 30 secs, and sprint for 30 secs. I do it 10 times. I just keep track of it myself. I don't like running with anything either other than my small mp3 player that clips onto my waist and my watch. Everything else is too distracting. You don't need anything fancy - just a watch. Good luck.0
