Is it okay to estimate calories based on what is in the food database? Like when we eat at a party or something where we don't see the nutritional info on the foods we eat.

Absolutely! I do that too. It is better to have a rough estimate than to leave it blank.0

I think that it is better to estimate than not to log at all. If you are careful and honest about what you ate. Most places will more than likely not be low fat foods so be sure you take that into consideration.0

It's fine to estimate. I always tend to try and overestimate everything just in case. I definitely don't want enter less than I have had. I would much rather enter more than I actually had.0
