Minerals as appetite suppressants?

I've been on a 1200 calorie regimen since New Year's. I recently added a multivitamin so that I'd make up for whatever vitamins I was deficient in, Trader Joe's Women's High Potency multivitamin. It has some very high levels of certain elements. for example
Vitamin C 833% RDA
Vitamin E 1333%
B6 5000% RDA
B12 1000% RDA
Thiamine 1667% RDA
I am not taking anything else aside from that. My appetite has subsided to the point where I am eating so I can meet my daily calorie allotment, and that's it. I'm not worried, but I found it odd.
I'm trying to figure out if my body has just readjusted itself to more properly proportioned eating OR if there is something in the vitamins that is doing it. I was curious if anyone else has experienced a suppressant-type effect from supplements that aren't specifically diet supplements.

When you deprive your body of food it the hunger signals do subside. It's actually a sign that you need to eat more.0

I actually feel satiated. I think this has to do with one of the B vitamins.0

Its actually pretty common for appetite to diminish when you're restricting energy. You'd be surprised how many people start threads here saying "help I can't possibly eat 1200 calories, I've eaten 800 and I'm already full" etc. I expect it has more to do with that than your vitamin supplement.0

Yes. If you aren't hungry that is a sign that you need to eat more . . .
OP, 1200 is on the lower end of things, but without knowing your height, weight, activity level, and how many of your exercise calories you are eating back then we really can't say whether you are eating enough.0 -
It's really not good for you to be taking such massive amounts of vitamins:

And the previous posters are correct: you need to eat more.0
