Every little helps!

I was just wondering if anyone does any 'little' things to give their fitness a helping hand? For example, I always park as far away from the supermarket door as possible so I have to walk further. Doesn't sound much but like I said, every little helps. Do you have any ideas?

I park further than I need to at the store/restaurant.
At work - I use a bathroom halfway across the building and with all the water drinking I do it adds up.
I work in a two-story building - regardless of where I am going I go upstairs first, then to my destination
I park at the end of the parking lot at work, the walk the long way around to get to my office.

Sort of... but I'm still really out of shape. The parking lot at my work is one giant hill. So if I park far away, I'm a sweaty mess by the time I get there. I do, however, go for 30 minute walks at lunch time. I try to take the stairs when possible. Depending on weather, I will park further at a store. I've been trying to get up from my desk more often at work. Instead of sending stuff through interoffice mail at work, I'll physically walk it to someone. I'm sure it helps!

I walk my kids to school.
I also do laps of the shopping center (its huge), when I am there. So if I want to go to Target I walk all the way to the opposite end first and then walk to Target :D
I also walk to the furthest bus stop from my house when I need a bus. Its 15 minutes further but I figure ever little bit counts.

I keep the pull-up bar in place across a doorway and have been doing one chin-up each time I have to go through. I started being able to do only a quarter of a rep, then half and now can do one full chin-up each time and I am still around 30lbs overweight, so I consider that's pretty good. Looking forward to losing more fat weight so I can do more reps each time.

I try to walk the block to and from work probably means around 1.6KM a day without much effort.

Walk instead of drive - for last minute items from a local store; you can spend some time with your SO or son/daughter to do this also.

Pre-pack lunch from dinner serves the night before - this reduced the temptation to eat any remaining portions from a prepared meal and means you portion control for the next day and avoids take away for your lunch the next day.

Eat lunch away from your desk - take a short walk before you eat - to a local park or similar so you enjoy a break and can eat in peace.
