Creatine Timing

Hey Folks,

I've been taking creatine on workout days pre-workout. My workout looks like this (rather simple).

35 min of cardio
10 min of rest
Lifting/weight exercises

My question is, at what point in the above is it most useful to ingest the creatine (I use powder in water) ?

Pre-cardio or during my 10 min rest?

Also, for times I take another dose post workout, is there an optimal time to take it after my workout?

I usually take either a protein shake or bar after lifting. Take the creatine with the protein?
