I cant wait to take my lil one trick or treating for the first time this year. She is going to be a lil witch  Man, I dont think I could do that because I would want to taste test everything.... seriously. They would get like half of the cake

paytyn was a witch her first Halloween.

If I could bake and decorate like that I would be about 5x's more than I weigh now!

    I love the holidays too.............

I bought pumpkin and ghost cookie cutters, I will be a sugar cookie making fool. I am going to make cookie pops, LOL
  • OH my Grokette! I think I might gain 4 lbs just from your pictures and talking about sweets! I think my TOM is coming soon because I am cramping, cranky and craving some sweets :grumble:   :explode:  I typically NEVER crave sweets like this. I have problems with my TOM, it is so random. I havent had one in over 2 months. I typically take medication to try and regulate it, but havent since I was trying to lose weight. I might need to though to get all of this stuff overwith  Well I was down 0.2 this am, which suprises me.... I had 4 iced oatmeal cookies yesterday.... they were even mini ones. But I never realized how many calories were in them (220 to be exact)  So, I guess I should be happy that I went down at all. I knew I was an emotional eater, but I dont think I realized the extent of it. I guess I should say why.... my husband is trying to go to afghanistan to work. He went to Iraq and worked for 22 months about 5 years ago, but we didnt have a child then. So needless to say I am a wreck :ohwell: :frown: I dont want him to leave, and I am against it... but I am trying to be a supportive wife. So I have been kinda down since yesterday. We will see what happens. They contacted him and was getting stuff together for a fire inspector position, but he doesnt want to do that, he just wants to work as a firefighter. So.... I will keep everyone updated. Hopefully I can try and stick to my diet better today. I am trying to be aware of what I am doing. And my husband told me last night he is missing my homecooked meals... and his stomach misses it very much  So if he does end up leaving I might have to make some good old home cookin meals for him before he leaves (which is bad for me, but I would rather him have them since he wont until he is home again).... ugh.... well I am going to go now. Baby girl has her 9 month check up appointment, and I have to start getting ready and getting her ready. I hope everyone is doing good so far!:drinker:

I hope you feel better soon!!

    CHALLENGE UPDATE:

    R2P2D1 - 165
    R2P2D3 VLCD1 - 173.4!!! Now that's loading!

I am really enjoying my first day back on the VLCD! I had my creamerless coffee this am, an apple around 11:30, lunch of curry shrimp and asparagus (thank you Spicy) at 1:30p and am going to try to wait til 8pm for dinner (my favorite - huge plate of lettuce with taco flavored ground beef (using my own spices of course)) and strawberries for a late snack - because I work til 3am and if I eat too early I am self-sabotaged by midnight!

I hope to get back to day 1 weight (165) by Friday or Saturday and to get to/below my R1 weight of 159.2 by day 10 or so.

    Game on!!!!

WOW that is awesome! Way to go!
  • Hi guys! I am writing this with a somewhat heavy heart at the moment. I am unfortunately going to put a halt/pause on my diet. Well, I guess you can say stop it for now, and begin again on about Oct. 15th ish (yes I know that is when we were supposed to finish our challenge, but you guys keep going!). My husband just accepted a job offer yesterday to go to Afghanistan. He will be leaving my daughter and I on Oct 11th. He will be gone for at least one year. I really thought that I would have more time to prepare for this, but turns out I do not. He has done this before, he was in Iraq for 22 months about 5 years ago. However we did not have a daughter then. I am having a hard time dealing with this :brokenheart: :brokenheart:   Honestly, I have had more anxiety attacks in the last 24 hours than I have in my life. I do not want him to leave, but I am trying to support what he wants to do. He even joked around with me a couple of days ago that he is losing weight because of my diet. And his stomach is all messed up because I am not cooking my "good ol home cooked meals" for him anymore. Instead of cooking for him and taking the time to make something seperate for myself I would rather spend every second I can with him. I know some others might be able to pull off this diet with this, but I cant. I am just not emotionally set for it at the moment. And I would like to be able to take him to all of his restaurants that he likes to eat before he goes without having to splurge on my diet. So I figure I will just have a fresh new start after he is gone. It will be easier too so no one is tempting me with foods I cannot have. :blushing: So, I am not just giving up.... I am choosing to spend quality time with my husband before he goes. And once he leaves, I will be even more determined to lose the weight I need to lose so when he sees me again he will faint :smooched:  :blushing:   I still would like to get on here and check on everyone and support you guys! Hopefully some of you will still be around in 3 weeks when I come back  I have found some great people on here that I want to stay in touch with, and look forward to being back on my diet. But for now, time with family first :flowerforyou:

Yes I know that I just copied what I put in our other one... but just in case... LOL I still want to be on here to support you guys. And if anyone is wanting to do another challenge at the time this one ends, I will be starting back again! I just hope I dont gain everything I have lost so far. :ohwell: But you guys are all doing awsome! You will all be such skinny bi#^hes when I get back    :flowerforyou:

I'm ecstatic about the progress so far on round 2, but have reasonable expectations for the losses to slow down soon. My sis is just ending her 2nd round - 21 lbs lost on round 2 for her. I am still surprised so many people doubt the effectiveness of this plan.
