Couch to Warrior Dash (well, almost)

I've been working out some the past couple months and I have a pretty physical job, but I am still not very strong. I have signed up for a Warrior Dash race in two months. Any one have advice on functional fitness training to help me scale walls, climb ropes, make my way through muddy pits and claw my way up muddy hills? I am so excited about doing this race, but beginning to wonder what I got myself into.
