exercise

I absolutely love exercising at the moment - thank god!!! Just wanted to know if its possible to do to much exercise?

I have started running, which is great as it means the days I don't make it to the gym I go for a 30/40 min run..

I don't feel physically drained or tired - I actually feel really happy with myself and seem to have more energy than normal, I'm also sleeping much better at night.

Since last Saturday I have done some form of exercise every day, is this ok?

P.S I'm also starting my 5;2 diet tomorrow - I'm hoping I still have the energy to exercise on my fasting days!

Yeah just listen to your body, it will tell you if it is really too tired to exercise one day.

I'd be wary about overdoing it on your 500 calorie days though - I can't imagine being able to get through any strenuous exercise without collapsing with so little fuel, but that's just me!

Rest days are important for muscle/tendon/bone repair to avoid injury. Or, rotating what you're working hard, so major areas get a break to repair. So if you run one day, the next day you'd work on your arms and shoulders, for instance.
