Hiding the cookies

Well, I bought some Dancing Deer Molasses cookies because my kids love them. Unfortunately, so do I. Normally, I just hide treats I kind of like in the microwave (since I forget about giving them out if they're deep in my cabinets :ohwell: ). But these are going in the kids' rooms with a note to hide them from Mom. They're sooooo good!

Why can't you have a cookie?0

Because I won't have just one. Certain treats, like these cookies, I'll just eat one every two hours all day long. Later when I'm in maintenance I can. Or if there's only one cookie left.0

So have the kids hide them and just bring you one. Enjoy that one. The problem with binge eating is that no matter how much of the treat you eat, you still eventually get to the end of it. Whether you just had the one bite or the whole package, it's eventually gone and how you feel depends on how much you ate. So just have one, and really eat it slow, and enjoy it.0 -

I could do that. Maybe I will, later in the day. But of course, since my kids are competitive, I'll have to have each bring me half a cookie!0 -

That's how you get ants! Why not just have the kids monitor you, I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem calling you out every-time you tried to binge.0 -

Don't worry, they'll be wrapped in ziplok! Plus, it's winter here. Finally, I get really huffy when people tell me what I can and can not, should and should not, eat. So my kids know not to call me out on anything. :happy:0
