Question for the experienced runners (5 yrs + experience)

I've been a runner since the age of 16 and I've never had a problem with it. I stopped running at about 4 months pregnant because my joints couldn't take it anymore, and cramps were inevitable everytime I started running. 10 months ago I have birth VIA c-section and lost 24 lbs since than and started running again recently... Only problem is, is that after 0.9 km I stay feeling a sharp pin needle feeling slightly on the right side of my chest. It keeps me from running further or faster. The energy and the drive is there but it saddenes me because I used to LOVE running. For any runners put there... You have any ideas what this could be or how to fix it?? Thanx.
P.s. I'm 26 years old and am in good health.

don't worry that's cool..ur lungs are just building up the oxygen capacity ..u won't face any problem after some weeks once u build up the stamina ..but still when ur lungs pain while running better slow down ur pace. :)

Slow down a bit and also make sure you are properly hydrated.

I don't have your qualifying 5+ years of experience, but I am smart enough to say "run slower"

So, you basically took off for 14+ months. You have lost a lot of fitness. What used to be an easy pace, no longer is. Try slowing down quite a bit and see if that solves the issue.

I second this advice. I have the required experience as well.

I've inadvertently taken a month or three off regular running. You have to start slow and work your way back up to where you were. It's frustrating, but that's life. Start with walking, jogging intervals.
